In collaboration with Toni Tàpies art gallery, Fundació Suñol presents Ann Veronica Janssens’ video installation Berlin-Barcelona as part of the collective exhibition Fora de joc (‘Offside’) organised by the GIC galleries (Independent Art Galleries of Catalonia).
The video shows the two halves of a 1999 football match played in near-zero visibility due to thick fog in Berlin. It looks like the players are fighting not so much for the ball, but more against the growing confusion created by the fog.
