Act 17: A*Live is an event for critical analysis on the present forms of reception, distribution and contemporary art consumption from the artistic panorama of Barcelona.
The Fundació Suñol and A*DESK are the organizers of a dialog and critical analysis session, that takes place at the Nivell Zero on October 6th, 2010, to discuss new tendencies, new channels, new publics and new approaches to contemporary art, and to highlight the big amount of initiatives developed nowadays and its effects on the society. A selection of exhibition proposals showed in the city during 2010 will be screened and studied.
Museum Directors, Art Critics and other contemporary art specialists of Barcelona will participate in the event, which could actually be followed on site and also through internet.
The aim of A*LIVE is to check and conclude on the most appropriate ways to experiment and spread knowledge at present.
