Act 26: Carmen Díaz Aperturas
27.06.2013 - 07.09.2013
Winner of the second edition of the grant awarded by the Fundació Suñol to postgraduates on the ProdArt master’s course at the University of Barcelona, Carmen Díaz presents Aperturas [Openings].
Taking its cue from newspaper crosswords, Aperturas is made up of four series (007, Resistir, Rejillas and Sanguijuelas) based on the mechanisms of concealment, with ties with cryptography. The project explores whether the act of not showing things, evading things or leaving things out might be a way of “seeing” the world around us.
