The Mano térmica de artista [Thermal hand of the artist] (1975) becomes the only piece in this exhibition. The work, made of cast aluminum and polished in the shape of a hand, presents a look at how a subtle intervention can establish a feverish, hypercorporeal relationship with a subject. It achieves this by means of two small resistors, which gently heat the piece and appeal to senses traditionally excluded in the visual arts, such as sound or touch.

The sculpture is part of a series commissioned by Mario Fernández Barberá. The exhibition is curated by Rubén Grilo.
