Permanent collection

The Contemporary Art Museum of Eivissa (MACE) is a center of knowledge and dissemination of contemporary art of reference in the Balearic Islands. The Fundació Suñol has collaborated with the museum in the conception of the Zush in Ibiza exhibition, an exhibition that has been seen both at the island’s museum and at the foundation’s headquarters in Barcelona.

The MACE collection includes an important sample of the plastic creation that emerged on the island in the 60s, in addition to works by internationally renowned artists such as Tàpies and Miralles. The museum was inaugurated in 1969, being a pioneering contemporary art museum in Spain.
