Ian Breakwell was a British artist known for his multidisciplinary works, which include painting, photography, video and performance. With a conceptual approach, Breakwell explored themes of everyday life and the more unusual aspects of society, often with a touch of humor and social criticism. One of his most well-known works is The Diary (El Diario), a project in which he documented observations of his life and his environment in great detail, turning the banal into art. His work, with a deep critical look, remains relevant for its introspective approach and for its reflection on the human condition.
