Viquidones

This quarter, the Fundació Suñol has the pleasure of collaborating with the Viquidones program, an initiative promoted by the Direcció del Servei a les Persones i al Territori and the Taula de Dones of the district of Les Corts, which seeks to reduce the gender gap present in the Wikipedia. With this objective, the program wants to increase the percentage of women editors in Viquipedia, training them and encouraging them to create entries about relevant women in our history and today.

Throughout these four months we propose you to join the program to generate, expand and/or translate the profiles of the artists and other art professionals who have contributed to defining the trajectory of the Fundació Suñol. With the aim of opening participation to new members, we will start the quarter with a training workshop on how to edit entries in Viquipedia, which will be conducted by a specialist. The project also includes a visit to the Fundació Suñol and the possibility of contacting some of these art professionals to deepen the investigation.

All sessions will be held at the Joan Oliver “Pere Quart” Civic Center, with the exception of the visit to the headquarters of the Fundació Suñol.
