Jordi Mitjà Father’s Lost Papers / Son’s Drawings
02.03.2017, 18:30
The publication Father’s Lost Papers / Son’s Drawings will be presented on the 2nd of March at the Fundació Suñol, in the context of the exhibition Act 36: Jordi Mitjà. Sculpture is not important. The book is a compilation of drawings made by Heribert Mitjà throughout his career and drawings made by Jordi Mitjà during this exhibition’s production.
Without indicating the authorship of the documents, the works by father and son dialogue about art and crafts and constitute a tribute to the blacksmith trade.
Father’s Lost Papers / Son’s Drawings is an artist book edited by Cru Editions and designed by Alex Gifreu, gold winner on Design and Craft of the Art Directors Club of Europe Awards 2016. The presentation will involve the participation of Alex Gifreu and Jordi Mitjà.
