01.03.2023, 18:30
On March 1st, we will invite art historian and exhibition curator Martina Millà, who during the eighties worked with Zush/Evru on several exhibition projects, to lead a guided tour of the Zush exhibition in Ibiza. The activity aims to remember the years when Zush resided in Gallery 2, the current headquarters of the Suñol Foundation, as well as to establish bridges with the artistic and cultural scene of the seventies and eighties.
Martina Millà is head of exhibitions at the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona where she coordinates the Joan Miró Prize and is a curator and supervisor of temporary exhibitions, Espai 13, and photographic exhibitions related with the Joaquim Gomis Collection. In 1992 she obtained an MA at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and, in 2005 a PhD from the Art History Department at Emory University, Atlanta, where she had been enrolled since 1996. From 2015 to 2017, she was a member of the board of Hangar arts centre and she was part of the Executive Committee of the Council of Culture of Barcelona between 2016 and 2021.
