Visit-workshop for families Family cartographies – June
11.06.2022, 11:30
Exterior | Interior shows us in an exhibition format the site-specific productions of the original project It started with water, and the public program of the exhibition aims to investigate various themes of the exhibition such as historical memory in terms of gender and its dissemination or cartographies, understanding art as a connection tool with the environment and the stories that surround us.
Family cartographies is a visit-workshop for families where we will bring the youngest closer to the concepts of historical memory and cartography through the interventions of the artists represented in the exhibition. From these triggers, it will be proposed to each family to map their closest environment from the knowledge and emotional connections that their members contribute.
It seeks to promote that different generations of the same family can add layers of knowledge, experiences and memories to the map. Therefore, we encourage you to participate in this proposal accompanied by as many relatives as possible, including grandparents and grandmothers, to rebuild together the emotional history of the neighborhood and the city.
