IN> TRA. Artistic practice as a model of experience presents the results of the research that the IN>TRA group of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona has dedicated to addressing, in a critical and at the same time creative way, the problems around the humanities. digital, the new materialisms and the incidence of these in the art. All in the framework of an open and transdisciplinary collaboration, conveyed through the notion of prototype. The project is accompanied by the publication of a publication with the project process and results.
The symbolic idea of a prototype, understood as an expanded model or preliminary and always provisional model of a later active production, is the conceptual link that articulates the diversity of projects and production processes that are presented in the exhibition.
The collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts is part of the Fundació Suñol’s desire to forge links with artistic training centers, opening the space for the presentation of works produced in a context in this case of academic research.
