Ouka Leele, pseudonym of Bárbara Allende Gil de Biedma, was a prominent Spanish photographer and artist linked to the Movida Madrilenya. Recognized for her black and white photographs hand-colored with watercolors, she created a unique and poetic visual universe that merged reality and fantasy. Her work explores themes such as identity, nature and popular culture with a style characterized by its freshness and originality. Ouka Leele left an indelible mark on Spanish contemporary art, being one of its most emblematic figures.
