In Septmender 2017 the museum MACBA of Barcelona presented the exhibition Brossa Poetry that could be visited in this museum and in the Museo Vasco de Arte Contmporáneo – Artium between the months of September 2017 and September 2018, and in which the Fundació Suñol participated by contributing the work Capitomba. The exhibition, which reviews the artist’s work through books and plastic research of which he was a pioneer, was made possible largely by the deposit of the Fons de la Fundació Joan Brossa which the Museu d’art Contemporani de Barcelona received in 2011. With a production that is always at the crossroads of languages, collaborations with artists from other disciplines and experimentation with different media would be very frequent in Brossa’s practice.
