The Nivell Zero becomes part of an unusual and inspiring conversation. With a dual program designed for the occasion, the pianist Francesco Tristano Schlimé invites us to a musical dialogue between Johann Sebastian Bach and John Cage.
The piano is the purpose of the two concerts by Francesco Tristano presented at Nivell Zero under the title BachCage.04. La naturaleza según John Cage. The result is a musical continuum where they highlight the formal parallels between Bach’s pre-classicism and Cage’s avant-garde (in the most literal and legitimate sense).
