Art a la carta

Art a la carta is based on a constructivist conception of learning, understood as a process of personal construction of meanings. Given that it seeks to facilitate meaningful learning, it offers dialogue-based activities that give students a leading role in the proposed research and creation processes.
Each activity raises a different theme, all of them open and transdisciplinary, and proposes actions around works from our art collection. We have at our disposal artworks from artists that have inspired them, whether or not they are exhibited in the current exhibition, since the visit to our center contemplates going into the reserves and discovering what a museum is like.
The name of the program responds to its great flexibility, which allows you to choose between the formats and themes of the proposals and adapt them to the needs and interests of the students. You can also decide how much time you want to spend there and when during the course you want to visit us. Order à la carte!
We currently offer three educational proposals that can be carried out in different formats:
A. Autonomous capsules in interactive pdf format (include a dialogue visit guided by the educational team of the Fundació Suñol)
A format designed for teachers who want and can extensively work on the subject in the classroom and on the street before and after the visit. The capsules are available online and have been designed to be projected in the classroom and worked on in groups.
B. Dialogue visits conducted by the educational team of the Fundació Suñol.
Designed for those teachers who do not have time to delve into the topics raised in the classroom and/or are looking for a more closed format.
Each proposal is accompanied by indications to the teachers about possible previous and subsequent activities. Final evaluation questionnaires for students and teachers are also included.
What would a wild animal look like? How do we learn to domesticate it? What is lost in this process?
Starting from the work of Luis Gordillo, Fina Miralles and Zush, we will let ourselves be driven by our subconscious to create untamed images. And we will lose control of our drawing, in an exercise of trust in the other and of unlearning to draw.

Alphabets, numbers, timetables, calendars… We structure our life around ordering systems. But these parameters do not respond to natural laws, they are conventions that we have created. What if the structures that regulate reality were others? What if we were to invent new ones? Thinking new systems for new possible worlds…
We will base ourselves on this utopia, typical of 20th century avant-garde art, to play and question how we order our experience of the world.
