Tonet Amorós

Lleida, 1961

Born in 1954 in Lleida, Tonet Amorós trained at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, where he began to develop his passion for painting and printmaking. Starting in the 1970s, his work began to stand out for its originality and innovative approach, blending traditional techniques with a contemporary perspective.

Amorós is characterized by his exploration of themes related to identity, memory, and transformation, reflecting his sensitivity to Mediterranean culture and its visual landscapes. His works, which range from painting to sculpture and installations, often incorporate organic and symbolic elements, creating a deep connection with the viewer.

During the 1990s, he participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, in venues such as the Lleida Art Museum and the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona. His work has been recognized with various awards and has been acquired by significant public and private collections.
