Eva Arrizabalaga was born in Barcelona in 1961 during the Spanish post-war period. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and has lived in several places, such as California, India, Sant Esteve de Palautordera (Montseny), and currently in Cardedeu, where he has resided since 1992. There he bought a house from the beginning of the century XX that had previously been inhabited by the illustrator Agustí Asensio Saurí until his death in 1994.
In addition to her artistic career, Arrizabalaga has been very active in solidarity causes, such as the reception of Syrian refugees and the defense of the rights of emigrants. Currently, he has his painting studio on Carrer Aragó de Cardedeu, where he creates his works and teaches painting classes and various techniques, such as Indian embroidery, trimmings, engraving and monotype. It also offers workshops in cultural centers.
His painting is figurative, but not realistic, focused on the aesthetic expression of ideas, symbols and emotions. He has exhibited in several cities, including Valencia, Barcelona, Llinars del Vallès and the Parc del Garraf Begues.
