Antoni Muntadas is a Spanish artist and creator known for his interdisciplinary work that explores the intersection between art, communication and society. Born in Barcelona, ​​his career has focused on research and criticism of the media, as well as reflection on power structures and information. Muntadas has used a variety of media, including photography, video, installation and architecture, to address themes such as memory, identity and globalization.

His work is characterized by a critical and analytical capacity that challenges dominant narratives and examines the relationships between visual representation and social reality. He has developed significant projects such as “On Translation”, an investigation into the processes of cultural exchange and the translation of meanings through media. Muntadas has exhibited internationally in prestigious institutions, and his work has been recognized for its ability to reflect on contemporary society and forms of visual communication.

In 2014, the Suñol Foundation dedicated the exhibition ‘Dispositivos de exposición’ to the artists Antoni Muntadas and Enrich Franc. This exhibition revolves around the multiple collaborations that Antoni Muntadas and Enric Franch have carried out over almost thirty years.
